Joseph F. Leeson, Jr. has earned the prestigious "AV® Preeminent"™* rating
from Martindale-Hubbell, the leading national lawyer peer review publication. This rating
represents the highest level of legal ability and ethical standards that can be awarded following completion
of a confidential peer review rating process by other lawyers and judges. He has been named a "Super Lawyer"
and as one of the Top Attorneys in Pennsylvania by Philadelphia Magazine. He has also earned certification
as a board certified civil trial lawyer from the National Board of Trial Advocacy, an American Bar
Association and Pennsylvania Supreme Court accredited organization.
He has received degrees from DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania and from
the Catholic University of America School of Law in Washington, D.C. He is a former Chairman of the Boards of
the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation, the Lehigh Valley Public Telecommunications Corporation, and the
Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority.
He formerly served as an elected member of the City Council of the City of Bethlehem.
Joseph F. Leeson, Jr. currently serves as a member of the Administrative Board of Directors of the
Pennsylvania Catholic Conference and as Chairman of the Board of the Janet Johnston Housenick and William D.
Housenick Memorial Foundation.
He is a member of the Federal Bar Association, Federal Circuit Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association,
Bar Association of the District of Columbia, Bar Association of Lehigh County and Northampton County Bar
Association.
Mr. Leeson serves as counsel for people involved in accidents and injury cases.
He has also been asked to represent many public figures, including state and federal legislators, mayors of cities
and prominent religious figures. His areas of practice include litigation, municipal law, the building and |

construction industry, and non-profit and religious institution law. The firm also owns and operates a title
insurance agency for real estate transactions.
He has litigated a dispute over U.S. House of Representatives Congressional re-apportionment before a special
master in the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. He is one of only a handful of lawyers in the state who have
conducted a trial in the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Recent cases include Mr. Leeson’s handling of
a case involving a $100 million dollar plus dispute over the construction of a manufacturing facility, and
the litigation of a number of cases involving multiple injuries and fatalities in accidents.
